This movie, guys. I can’t even wait to see this movie. There’s no film coming out this year that’s as hot and weird as Spring Breakers. Harmony Korine’s last movie was shot on old thrift store VHS tapes and featured homeless scumbags who had sex with piles of garbage. This new one is a super-glossy crime caper with Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens in it. How exactly do you pull that off? That’s like getting high and playing Tecmo Bowl one day and starting for the Patriots the next. Here’s the new Red Band trailer for Spring Breakers, which also stars Gucci Mane and James Franco and opens later this year.
