Music videos that tap into the whole 16-bit vibe is becoming a very regular thing, which is fine by me. Provided that they’re as good as Gowe and his clip for Aurora.

I will admit, I’m not totally crazy for the song, but I would totally play that game if it was real..

Actually, it somewhat already exists; the above, which was first highlighted by Kotaku, looks a lot like the XBLA/PSN Scott Pilgrim game. Initially I thought it was the handiwork of Paul Robertson, who was the lead artist of that game, along with other music videos.

But it’s not, just someone who is heavily inspired by him. Oh, and no discussion of rap and video games is completely without the obligatory link to Del The Funky Homosapien's Proto Culture.
