Illusions, Michael. Not tricks. A trick is something a whore does for money. I have to admit a soft spot for movies about magicians. No, not bearded Merlins – stage magicians. The art of illusion is, at heart, a con game, and the best in the business are just great at fooling people. Louis Leterrier’s new flick Now You See Me posits a worst-case scenario of a group of magicians using their powers for evil. When the “Four Horsemen” start using their abilities to drain bank accounts, two FBI agents must figure out how they’re doing it. Now You See Me stars Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Jesse Eisenberg and Melanie Laurent and opens June 7, 2013.
