When society finally crumbles and currencies carry no value, all that will be left is bartering. One man is getting a jump on trend by trying to pay for everyday things with bacon.
The premise of the sketch would have been much better had a man not just traveled coast to coast bartering for necessities with nothing but bacon. I don’t have a job in which I accept cash, but if I did I would absolutely take bacon instead. I’d gladly use my own money to pay for the guy’s stuff and eat the bacon myself. He’s pretty much just a wandering bacon salesman at that point, and I’m pretty sure we can all agree the world needs more of those.
