New 'A Good Day To Die Hard' trailer is here Jan 4th 2013, 17:40 Yippie ki-yi yay, 2013. The Die Hard franchise certainly has never topped its first installment, but there’s still a pleasure in watching Bruce Willis age the John McClane character. The fifth installment, A Good Day To Die Hard, sees McClane’s sone Jack (played by Jai Courtney) team up with his dad to take out some nefarious Russians. I can’t think of another action series that’s gone with a generational shift like this, so I’m curious to see how it’ll work. This new trailer kind of spoils a bunch of the movie’s plot, but you don’t go to a Die Hard movie for the plot so who cares. A Good Day To Die Hard opens on February 14th.
