Man proposes to Iowa State basketball girlfriend in front of huge crowd Jan 2nd 2013, 14:00 Iowa State center Anna Prins received a pleasant surprise following the team’s win over Alabama State Sunday. Her boyfriend of three years dropped down to one knee and proposed in front of 7,000 fans. Prins, who stands at 6’7″, had no clue what was going on—neither did her teammates. Her coach however, Bill Fennelly, was in on the act, hiding the diamond ring in his briefcase prior to the game. Thankfully, Prins said “yes”— otherwise this story would really suck.
