OK, so GIF-LOCK is not exactly perfect, in the sense that you can’t put the collected works of Alison Brie running on your phone and just go through them constantly at work, staring at the supple motion of…

Sorry, sorry, lost the plot, I’m back.

But what it will do is, uh, hijack your lockscreen with the more popular GIFs on Tumblr, and let you switch them around with a shake. The GIFs currently range from the arty to the nostalgic to, naturally, pictures of cats. They can be a little stretched and altered, and it won’t work on every Android phone, but the result is still pretty neat. Oh, no iOS version because Apple won’t let it happen.

And, needless to say, you can submit GIFs you’d like to see. But the real value here is the fact that you can just shake and you’ve got something to amuse yourself for hours. But it’s still not staring at Alison Brie, like in that paintball episode, where she runs down the hall and…
