That’s Cello Fortress in a nutshell. It’s basically like playing Mario Party with three of your friends. Except one of them, instead of using a standard controller, is using his specially modified cello…
Cello Fortress is the brainchild of Joost van Dongen, who aside from being a game designer is also a cellist. One that is able to improvise in order to deal with whatever the situation calls for it. Yeah, it’s not the most exciting thing in the world, but it’s at least different, right?
Hopefully someone will eventually do the same, but with an electric guitar or some other instrument instead. Also, for those interested, here’s a closer look at van Dongen’s other game, hence why I know about Cello Fortress in the first place…
It’s like a racing game, except you’re stuck to a tube in a super abstract environment with jazz playing in the background (admittedly, am not the biggest fan of that last part).
