White trash has never been so fun. I couldn’t watch the original British Shameless – the damn accents were just too thick for me to make out what they were saying. Thankfully, Showtime’s U.S. updating is awesome. If you haven’t watched it, here’s the deal: William H. Macy plays Frank Gallagher, a drunk single dad on the South Side of Chicago. All six of his kids are trying to hold their walking disaster of a family together by fair means or foul. Oh, and Emmy Rossum is in it and she takes her clothes off every once in a while. If you’re not sold yet, I don’t know what to tell you. Season 3 of Shameless premieres at 9pm on January 13th.
