You couldn’t make me get on a submarine if my life depended on it. Those things are messed up. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a good submarine thriller, so there may just be a space for Phantom in our crowded movie calendar. The flick stars Ed Harris as the captain of a Soviet nuclear submarine who is rushed off on a top-secret mission only to discover that the KGB has infiltrated his boat and is planning to seize the nuclear missile onboard for their own ends. From the trailer, it looks like it could be claustrophobic and fun. Phantom docks in theaters on March 1, 2013.
