Most people who go on brewery tours are just in it for the free booze. Conan O’Brien recently headed to Guinness only to find it isn’t that simple.
Let’s call this what it is – an advertisement. I’m not foolish enough to believe that this is a regular sketch. If all sponsors were taken care of like this, though, TV would be a hell of a lot more enjoyable. I got to learn a little about one of the most famous beers on the planet all while being entertained by Conan. He could be the next Billy Mays.
Fun fact: for every 10 hours of TV you watch, approximately 3 hours are commercials. And they wonder why no one watches TV live anymore.
