Now somebody just needs to delete Chris Brown. So notorious woman-beater and R&B singer Chris Brown has long been regarded as the worst celebrity on Twitter – he just can’t resist using the popular microblogging service to vent noxious garbage against his critics and competitors. But ring the bell, the witch is finally dead. After one last explosion of awfullness, Team Breezy is no more. Chris Brown has deleted his Twitter account.
Brown’s Twitter has brought him nothing but trouble – after his performance at the 2012 Grammys was resoundingly panned, he opened up with a hateful screed against his critics. He’s also beefed with tons of other artists, from Meek Mill and Brian McKnight to Pink. Dude just doesn’t know how to get along with people. This all came to a head on Sunday night with one last magnificent flame-out.
The impetus was a little conversation with comedian Jenny Johnson, who has been a public critic of Brown for years.

Typically, Brown has ignored Johnson’s jibes, but this weekend he fired back with some typical misogynist garbage, such as saying he was going to shit in her eye and fart on her. Of course, the legions of moronic Brown fans leapt to his defense, but Johnson came out on top. Just a few hours after the exchange, Brown’s twitter was finally deactivated.
This is probably the smartest thing that could happen. Brown’s tenure on Twitter has been marked with multiple public relations fails, and if he’s back with Rihanna (as this picture seems to indicate), things are only going to get worse for both of them. At least we’ll be spared the 140-character opinions of one horrible asshole for a while.
